Who's Reading? Pt 1
How old is everyone?
Hi everyone! I’m still here, slogging away slowly, and not in a ditch somewhere; I just wrote about DEI spending and not the Clintons after all. While I edit and re-edit the essay on the basics of justice, a thought occurred to me, and as they often do it won’t shut the hell up. So now I have question for you all:
How old are you?
It is sort of a pointless question, but then when I started writing my main plan was to put down many of the points from my class lectures. I don’t teach college anymore, but the insights are useful and I figured I could share them here so I didn’t forget. Then over time I got a little distracted and bored with that, and realized in part that the audience seems to be rather more sophisticated than your average college freshman. As I start on a project elucidating some thoughts on virtue and what we should endeavor to be and to respect in others, who my target audience should be started to seem important. Should it be young people who need guidance? Is it the clique of 40 year old grog nards I am buddy’s with, so I need to avoid just preaching to the choir? Is 90% of my readership old ladies at various retirement homes? (In which case I apologize for the language, grandma!) I need to know! Otherwise I might just procrastinate forever…
POLL
Why does it only have 5 options, Substack? Why? Is it just me?
Thanks guys, and real content is due shortly.
Not only do the 5 options drive me batty, the incredibly short text limit on the options does, too. Why the fuck couldn't there be a line feed?
My grandpa drove that tank.
Have two or 3 quizzes and just break it up (if under 40) ( if over 40...)
